About Satya Kaur
Born in Lisbon in 1958, he lived most of his life in London, where he completed his university degree in Geography.
She started teaching Kundalini Yoga in 1981. She is certified to teach Yoga by the Kundalini Research Institute. He gives courses for Yoga trainers (level 1 and 2).
She graduated as a midwife from Middlesex University in 1994 and practiced this activity for 5 years.
She worked as a social worker for 2 years with people with learning difficulties.
She is the author of the book “Yoga, Kundalini & Me”, the first Kundalini Yoga manual written in Portuguese. See it in the online store.
She did her Bachelor of Music, Performance and Composition at Thames Valley University in London. In 2002, she recorded a CD called “Here It Comes!”. She plays harmonium, tabla and sitar. Certified by Claire Schrader, Satya is also a facilitator of Red Tents, and Mithó-Drama sessions, a form of therapy and creative expression.
Satya Kaur is one of the founders and directors of the International Karam Kriya School, the Ashram Quinta do Rajo, The Mother’s Journey project and the Postnatal Support Network.
