Pre & Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training

[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]This training is aimed at preparing women to know enough about themselves to become mothers without fearful thoughts and without perpetuating feelings of inferiority that could be passed on to the next generation.

It is aimed at all those who wish to be part of the process of transformation of consciousness that is taking place in the world during this transitional phase, supporting mothers through the techniques of Kundalini Yoga according to Yogi Bhajan and the teachings of other ancient feminist traditions. Women are encouraged and equipped to take charge of their own self-healing and leadership.

We believe that every woman should have access to these precious teachings and conquer the power of “The future is female”, because that future is waiting for her.

This course is also aimed at those who want to teach yoga for pregnant and postpartum women, or lead any kind of course for women.

It is also aimed at parents who are motivated and professionals whose work is related to the pregnant woman, such as midwives and doulas.

Formation naturally challenges the current subjection of the natural birth process and develops greater autonomy and support for female intuition.

The concept of the Red Tent is part of the way we can get to know directly the strength that can be achieved and provided among women.

The training includes all aspects of the preparation for the Journey, from sexuality and love relationships to the education of children and young people who want to be freer and healthier.

The modules are only for women over 18.

(women only)

1. Conscious Conception:

This module explores conscious relationships: sexuality and its expression, the lunar cycle, fertility, lifestyle, conscious conception, incarnation, a mother’s prayer, and the journey of the soul. We also analyse how to release the pain, guilt and shame surrounding miscarriage and abortion and previous losses.

2 Yoga in Pregnancy:

In this module, we analyse how the mother’s consciousness and needs change in the 3 trimesters, including how the body changes. By working with the emotions that arise, we will gain an understanding of gestational trauma and its impact on the unborn child. The relationships of consciousness in this module also include sexual expression during pregnancy. We’ll look at healthy eating for pregnant mums, as well as minor ailments and remedies, including herbs and homeopathy, We’ll sing and dance, The Alternative Baby Shower. Kundalini Yoga kriyas, postures and their alternatives, mantra and meditation techniques.

3. The Birth of the Mother:

The Dynamics of Labour and Birth Preparation as an Initiation. Ceremony, rituals and support for the mother, including getting the help she needs and understanding how to use it. A large part of this module will explore working with altered states of consciousness to support the birthing process: meditations to help you trust your body. Work with endorphins, dopamine and strong meditations to support the expansion of labour. What a hospital birth entails: How to get the most out of the childbirth experience. Explore the role of the doula, pre- and post-natal care and bringing other people into the delivery room. Partners and the best postures for labour. A Cesariana Empoderada. What are your options with the placenta?

4. The Post-Natal Phase / Formation of Post-Natal Sevadars:

The post-natal phase, after the birth of the baby, is a time when the woman is in darkness. She visualised the mystery of life and death, sorrow and joy, during childbirth. It’s a time when she’s not “here” but “there”. It takes time to be reborn. A supportive community is part of her recovery and yogic techniques provide the new mum with the tools for self-knowledge and self-care that she needs. Students learn how to provide safe and stimulating postnatal yoga classes as well as support circles for mums and babies. To give women the strength and energy to experience all aspects of the sacred feminine: the alchemy of the maiden, the mother and the wise healer.

5. Leadership and Liberation in the Feminine:

Facilitating women-only groups, menstrual meditation techniques to strengthen stability, who we are as individuals, shadow work and empowerment, women and the power of ceremony. It’s an intense personal exploration of our self-concepts, our unspoken contracts and unconscious agreements with our family of origin and our family of choice. We’ll explore intimacy, anger, fear and resentment. The first day is spent descending into the rings of our inner hell and darkness, to allow us to come to terms with who we really are, what we block ourselves from, what we carry around and which no longer serves. The second day centres on moving forward. Re-contracting with our history, expanding out of the roles that no longer serve us. We look at how to run the classroom, how to serve the community, how to be a role model for others. Their work includes self-education. Create your reality. If you don’t like it, change it. Much of this weekend is spent working in groups. We ended the weekend by making our own plan for moving forward.
