“Portugal was both amazing (the location, the teaching from Shiv Charan, the warmth of the team at the ashram, the wonderful food, friendly company of the sangat, the Kirtan and beautiful music, the spirituality of the Sadhana and the whole ashram experience) and challenging (sleeping in a tent for the first time ever! Absorption of everything, being with people 24/7), but in whole it was truly a beautiful experience which I will always cherish.”
« I want to share my joy and the love sensation that I feel during my stay in Quinta do Rajo on both weekends.
I´ve loved the training, the space, the food, the dogs, the red tent, the Sádhanas, everything! »
« We want to thank you so much for the time we had here at Quinta do Rajo.
We want to thank you for your hospitality and openness.
We will take a lot back home from this experience. »
« Time to say:
Thank you for the blessed moments with you this year. These little moments, like jewels – bring more light and love in me and surround me. »
« My stay at Quinta do Rajo was a tremendous learning experience. The affection of the people warmed my heart and opened my mind to new ideas. A stayed for two months and they passed extremely quickly because I enjoyed every day I spent there. I worked in the garden, relaxed, did yoga, cooked, had interesting conversations, strolled along the beautiful nature, played with happy animals and stayed with joyous people. It is a little paradise on a hill. Somewhere beyond the imaginable, and yet close to everything you need »
« I started the teacher training because I wanted to go deeper into something, I didn’t know what. I was practicing different disciplines at that time. I liked practicing kundalini yoga, so I decided to go for it and leave the other disciplines behind. I was not aware of how deep I was going to go… It was an amazing travel into myself. It was only the beginning!! I had a great time with my TT mates, full of fun and also confessions. After that teaching yoga has become my spiritual path and the thing I like to do most. I feel really grateful to all my teachers, including my first kundalini yoga teacher Siri Avtar Kaur, and of course also to Satya Kaur, Shiv Charan Singh and Yogi Bhajan. »
« We thank the Cosmos for having given us human form in this era of change.
May we be guided to communicate consciously with our families.
May our mothers feel recognised and may they contact their inner power.
May we thank them for all that they have given us and all that they have not given us and which has made us whom we are today.
Allow us to raise our children in full consciousness for a radiant and dharmic future. »
« This is a place where women are allowed to Be rather than continually Do…
Every cycling woman knows the deep yearning for quietude during her Flow time.
Every ounce of our body and soul calls for rest, while our culture calls us to keep going, no matter what.
The ‘Red Tent,’ ‘Moon Hut,’ or ‘Moon Lodge, as they were known in indigenous cultures around the world, was a place of respite for women of old and ancient traditions.
Much more of a fictional novel, “The Red Tent” by Anita Dimant evokes in women a cellular memory of an experience we all shared, for millenniums, around the globe.
Once awakened, this memory becomes a need, a yearning, a birthright…
We recognize that having a place to go to when we flow, weekly, will make our lives different in profound ways, as well as change the lives of those around us, and ultimately the world! »
« Thank you all again and again and again for all you´ve done for me, for been there for me and be with me all this time. Every one of you open a diferente part of my heart and I´m do gratefull for that. I´m taking with me so many precious moments. »
“I had a great time at Quinta. Thank you both. It’s a fantastic place with great potential.
I hope to be back soon.”
The information we got – yes in a way it feels brief – because the topic is enourmous!! But the inspiration we are handed is also HUGE, so with that inspiration we have a good puf out in the waters of these topics.
